Many factors can determine the frequency of a professional clean, such as high traffic, children, pets and even floor maintenance. Applying a sealant to the grout will extend the time between professional cleanings.
Grout is a porous material subject to absorbing dirt and spills, which can result in staining. Applying a sealant helps create a barrier, keeping the grout stain-free longer.
We recommend allowing 2 hours before light foot traffic. Keeping grout dry for 7 days after initial cleanup and avoiding scrubbing the grout for up to 20 days is suggested.
Our sealer is specifically designed to be used with all sanded and non-sanded grouts.
New grout does not need to be cleaned first. Pre-existing grout must be clean and free of dust, dirt grease, oil and sealers of any kind.
